Milling Media

1 Profile:
Zirconia milling media include zirconium silicate (ZS) and Yttria stabilized zirconia (TZP) milling media.
The zirconium silicate abrasive is constructed by zirconium silicate micro-powder, For it is possessed of higher density, wear resistance and chemical resistance than Al2O3 and glass, etc, but lower than TZP, so it is a excellent common milling media especially in coating, painting, etc.
Yttria stabilized zirconia milling media(TZP) is almost the best milling media for most fields, with the excellent performance in high grinding efficiency, low wear rate, suitable to serious work environment and nearly zero impurity staining.
2 application:
ZS abrasive:
1) Chemical Products: coating, paint, ink, dyestuff, etc;
2) Ceramics and refractories: Titania powder, magnetic materials, Kaolin clay, calcium carbonate, etc;
3) Pesticide, Pharmaceutical chemicals, etc.
TZP abrasive:
1) High hardness and/or strength materials:
Magnetic, insulator and other functional materials;
2) High chemical corrosive products:
Coating, pigment, paint, dyestuff, etc;
3) Required to protect from staining:
Food, Pharmaceutical chemicals, etc;
4) Ceramics:
Electronic, piezoelectricity, construction, refractories ceramics.
